The scholarship programme enables outstanding graduate students from outside the United Kingdom to study there. Gates Cambridge Scholarship covers tuition fees, £12, 250 maintenance allowance for 12 months, economical airfare from the scholar's normal country of residence to the UK at the beginning of their course and contribution towards the costs of supporting dependants at Cambridge.
