[United States] NRAEF - Academic Scholarships for Undergraduate Students - Undergraduate
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) encourages and supports senior high school students, undergraduate students, ProStart COA, and educators who are committed to furthering their education and enhancing their careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry by awarding scholarships through its Scholarships and Mentoring Program.
The Scholarship
This scholarship is for undergraduate students pursuing a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor degree in a restaurant and/or foodservice-related program.
Requirements
1) Be currently enrolled in college and have completed at least one semester in a restaurant and/or foodservice-related program.
2) Have a minimum, cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
3) Have a minimum of 750 hours of work experience in the restaurant and foodservice industry verified by pay stubs or letter(s) from employer(s).
4) Submit one to three letter(s) of recommendation (preferably, on letterhead) from a current or previous employer.

Eligibility
Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America OR
be a resident of American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
