[Netherlands] The Technische Universiteit Eindhoven Master Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries - Postgraduate

The Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e), with support from The Shell Centenary Scholarship Fund (TSCSF), offers scholarships to talented postgraduate students from the developing world. The aim of the scholarship is to give students the opportunity to study at the TU/e and gain skills that will make a long-term contribution to the further development of their countries.

Eligible students
Candidates for these scholarships should normally be:
  • aged 35 or under
  • intending to study a subject that will be of significant value in aiding the sustainable development of their home country
  • of such outstanding academic ability as to be able easily to obtain a place on the MSc program of their choice
  • fluent in spoken and written English
  • neither a current nor former employee of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companies
  • not already enrolled in a TU/e program.

    Eligible countriesStudents who are nationals of and resident in any country other than the following may apply for a scholarship (i.e if your country is not listed below and you are not living in any of the countries listed below, you are eligible to apply): Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.

    Students must also intend to return and take up permanent residence in their home country/country of residence after completion of the MSc program in the Netherlands.

    This is a so-called `full-cost` scholarship which means that students are granted a fixed amount of money which usually covers tuition fees, international travel, living and other costs.
